NO.. i was in the same place.. until today. that i got my period. my last pill was april28th, almost 2 weeks later, i went to the doctor on tuesday took a blood test neg. i ask him is I could get pregnant with provera n he said that no because when you dont get you period you dont ovulate, so there is no eggs! but i dont know everybody is different. you could get a hpt anytime from now. i took about 10 hpt in those 2ww. so i know how u feel. but im happy i got my period.. cause on monday i'll start my 1st round of clomid!!

good luck!!

Even though I know this is not what you want to hear...most likly you are NOT pregnant. I took Provera a few weeks ago...I got my period 2 days after my last pill but I was told by my doctor that it is perfectly normal for it to take up to 14 days.

Also I am pretty sure that you can NOT get pregnant while takeing Provera...Provera is a form of Progestorone...it makes your body think it has already Ovulated....your progestorone lvls stay high until you stop takeing it and then your body has a withdrawl bleeding. But You will not release an egg while takeing it...if you are pregnant it had to have happened before you started it, which I don't know how that could have happend, my doctor gave me a pregnancy test before he would let me start the Provera, cause there is a increased risk of birth defects if you take it while pregnant. Not to scare you....but you should do some research about the risks of takeing it while pregnant.

One other thought, you said you only took the provera for 5 days...some doctors will have you take it for up to 10 days, because for some women 5 days isn't enough to induce a period. My doctor had me take it for 7 days. So if your not pregnant and you don't get your period within 14 days, they may just have you take it again for longer (7 or 10 days) this time.

Anyways hope that helped a little...I wish you the best!!!

It all depends on you as to whether or not your HCG levels are high enough to be detected on the over the counter test. The best way to tell is to ask your doctor for a blood serum HCG Quantiative test. This test will tell you your exact level. If you have this done you will know for sure. Anything is possible through prayer. I pray that you get what you want.

Why don't your doctors give you either Prometrium or Prochieve to induce your period?

They are both natural progesterones. Much healthier than Provera.
