I got pregnant during the summer of 2008. I was expecting to get my period on July 7th, but never got it. Which I really didnt think anything of it, but i should of considering I was always on time. I waited 4 days after i missed it, and then finally my boyfriend made me take a test. Which was positive, I took two just to be sure. I went to the doctors and got a test there so they could confirm. I had to go there a lot because I'm on medicine for me being bi polar. Then around 7 weeks I went in and had a sona gram done, not the normal ones that they put on your stomach, the one where they shove that thing up you, I got to see the baby, which was small, and i saw its heart beating and got to hear it, went back a week later, and it was dead. I had a d&c done in august, and they told me to wait 3 months to try. I didnt really follow their directions and i started a month after. So since September I've been trying, and nothing yet. When i was pregnant the last time it took me 7-8 months to finally get pregnant. I just ovulated around the 27th of January, so I'm praying that I will be pregnant. But this month i kept track on when I would. So I have been trying for about 4 or 5 months and I just hope it doesnt take that long again. Please tell me how long it normally takes for someone to get pregnant, and what the percentage there is if I do get pregnant again that I would have another miscarriage.

Sorry for writing so much, I'm just trying to give you all the details.

Hey hun sorry to hear your loss!!

Not getting pregnant while trying. Many couples want to get pregnant right away the first time they try conceiving after miscarriage. The stress and emotions that will occur during this time is extremely difficult. Each month when a woman begins her menstrual cycle she will be reminded of the miscarriage and that she is not pregnant now when she should be. Most women agree that after they stopped timing and planning the sex and just let it happen they became pregnant. Conceiving After Miscarriage . Do not plan to get pregnant immediately after you decide to attempt conceiving after miscarriage. The stress of wanting to be pregnant will definately hinder the intimate sexual contact and make sex no longer enjoyable and more like a job. The best way to get pregnant is have sex everyother day between the tenth and eighteenth day of the woman's menstrual cycle. However, be spontaneous and make it romantic and enjoyable.

Those who have suffered one miscarriage also have an 80 per cent chance of a successful pregnancy.

Hope this help!!try not to stress hun,Its not good for you when you are ttc!

Billions and billions of baby dust to you!!

Take care

P.S You will get your BFP soon!!God willing!!

Now a day's many couples are there who decide to extend their family and get pregnant after some years of their commitment. There is nothing more frustrating than the feeling of being infertile. If a couple are not able to conceive naturally after one year of regular, unprotected and well timed sex, is called as infertile couple. Infertility that causes incapability to conceive can be extremely stressful and painful. Sterility which accurse when the eggs or the sperm are not fertile and incapable of reproduction is not called as infertility. If you are not able to conceive naturally or infertile couple, it doesn't mean you should run to the doctor immediately. The first approach should be tried to maximize fertility naturally. Only a very small number of cases require medical or surgical treatment.

How to get pregnant by boosting your fertility following the right diet could be the single most important factor for successful conception. A Spanish research has recently found that men could boost their sperm counts by eating less red meat and fatty foods. Harvard University also found that women who found dietary changes reduce the chance of being infertile by as much as 80%.

High stress level can also affect the women's fertility. Latest study from Oxford University and US national institute of health revealed that high stress level may hamper your pregnancy. Your chances of getting pregnant are not only hampered by mental stress but with physical effects. It is said that athletic training and the air hostesses experience on long-haul flights can stop them ovulating. This is because stress affects the area of the brain from where ovary takes the order. When brain does not sent an order to ovulate, menstrual period stops and conception becomes very harder. So, lowering your stress level may help you in getting pregnant.

Aside from the other risk of being infertile, your health is also responsible for it. Excess weight and fat can lead to infertility. Being overweight can lead to an overproduction of certain hormones that disrupt ovulation. Your monthly cycle may be less regular, your ovulation may be less often, and you can decrease the chances of getting pregnant. On the other side, being under weight is also very responsible for making you infertile. Little body fat means your body may not able to produce enough hormones to ovulate each month or sustain a pregnancy if you get pregnant. An expert says that exercise may help you in maintaining a healthy weight. Just do not over do exercise. Over exercises also raises miscarriages risk. It's better to talk to your doctor about your exercises which may help you in getting pregnant and helpful in boosting your fertility.

This book is a must read for any woman trying to get pregnant. I was devastated and so was my husband after being told by my fertility specialist at age 38 that I had no option but to consider adoption or donor eggs (according to my doctor I was out of eggs and gave me 4% chance of getting pregnant and a 2% chance of carrying a baby to full term). After much research and dozens of hours reading infertility related articles and posts online, I have found this book! I never believed in anything alternative to western medicine and thought all the other stuff like Chinese medicine was a hoax. But I was soon glad to be wrong as I followed step by step guidelines. After one month of trying I became pregnant and had a beautiful healthy boy. Nine months after that I did everything in the book again and after 2 months of trying I got pregnant again and gave birth to another perfect little boy. I would recommend anyone with an open mind to read this book. It just might be the answer to your prayers.

Many couples try month after month and sometime years to get pregnant without success. They have very low chances of getting pregnant. There are several reasons for less chances of becoming pregnant. • Check your physical condition- third important factor that can increase your chances of becoming pregnant is your physical condition. It’s common sense: the healthier you are, the more likely you are to get pregnant. Try to do whatever you can to improve your chances of getting pregnant. Learn here https://tr.im/infertilitycure

If you are overweight, try to lose some and get to a healthier weight. Eat a healthy, well balanced diet, and exercise as often as possible. Don’t smoke, don’t drink, and of course, don’t do drugs. Try to avoid stressful situations, and keep things as calm as possible. Do whatever you can to keep everything as cool as possible. This will give you the best chance to get pregnant.

I had a miscarriage at 19 weeks, and I conceived about 4 months later. My next baby was as healthy as can be, had a couple of scares with bleeding in the first trimester, but turns out it was nothing. I am so glad to have my little boy, although I will never forget his bigger brother. I hope you conceive soon, but it is possible to start new and succeed with having a family after such a tragic event.

Good Luck sweetie, and sorry for your painful loss, I know what you're going through.

I had a miscarriage and a blighted ovum last fall (2007) and It took me a year to conceive again. Its a hard thing to predict and about half of pregnancy ends in miscarriage. Vaginal ultrasounds are very common as they cant see much otherwise until you are 10 weeks or farther. Stressing about becoming pregnant can actually cause you not to ovulate and such my advise is to relax nad let thing happen!! Some women can get pregnant right away some it takes longer there is no solid answer for you. good luck and keep your spirits up.

infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.

Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility. However. infertility isn't terrible like you thought, we can treat it. Learn more here:
