Question:
To women who've already had children! Trying to get pregnant! Please answer!...?

okay...so I am trying to get pregnant have been trying for quite awhile!
I went onto a website to look for symptoms because I believe I am experiencing some sypmtoms. But than I saw this awesome pregnant calculator and tried it out..and i know they probably aren't accurate but I did it anyway!
here is what I got.

The last day of my period was October 23, 2009--which is true because thats my last day of my period.

My fertility window was 11/01-11/11--i don't understand this because I thought it was the "day 14" is when you're most fertile. So can you tell me what that means?

Estimated Conception Date 11/06/2009--I believe I had sex that day BUT during the past 2 months we've not had sex 3 of how every many days there are in 2 months. So im not sure if thats one of those because I know there was 3 days in a row we didnt and it was recently. and if I didn't have sex on the 6th...than why does it say that? hypothetically thinking im really pregnant right now.

Estimated Gestational Age 2 weeks 6 days--that'd be awesome but can people find out if they're pregnant that early?

Estimated Due Date 7/31/2010--it says only 5% make it to this date. haha.

So basically what I want to know...is what exactly does conception mean? because when I counted that was only 6 days ago..
So is that calculator wrong? if I'm pregnant how can I be 2 weeks and 6 days?
HELP!?!?
please and thank you!
and PLEASE PLEASE tell me in the most simplest form because I'm still new to this and can't understand large terms. please and thank you!

1. My fertility window was 11/01-11/11--i don't understand this because I thought it was the "day 14" is when you're most fertile. So can you tell me what that means?

- day 14 is not always THE day you are most fertile, it all depends on your body. if you want to know for sure you should buy some OPKs (Ovulation prediction kit...looks just like a pregnancy test, and it tells you when you are ovulation. the day you ovulate is YOUR most fertile day)

2. Estimated Gestational Age 2 weeks 6 days--that'd be awesome but can people find out if they're pregnant that early?

- yep ! IF you are 2 weeks and 6 days pregnant you could find out if you are pregnant. again, knowing when you ovulated will help a bunch bc once you ovulated you can start testing a few days later. i know people who tested 10 days after they ovulated and got a postive pregnancy test. BUT it is best to wait till you miss your period and then test. :)

3.Estimated Due Date 7/31/2010--it says only 5% make it to this date. haha.

lol you are considered "full term" at 37-38 weeks so you can have the baby any where between 38- 42 weeks and its "full term" so that 5 % is probably on week 40 or something.

the calculator will go by your last period. of course if you KNOW exactly when you got pregnant then you will get a more exact date.

hope that helps!! :) if you have any question feel free to ask!

This is kind of a one-sided question. First of all, don't say "why do WOMEN keep getting pregnant..." It takes both a woman and a man to get pregnant. If a man knocks up a woman who can't afford more children, it's also his fault, as much as it's the woman's fault. Some people may tell you that birth control/protection is the woman's job, but no matter what gender you are, if you are sexually active then you have to make sure you use protection, whether you're a man or a woman. I mean, if you were a man and you were about to sleep with a woman who wasn't on the pill and didn't have any condoms, and you slept with her anyway, with her getting pregnant, it would be your fault, too. Second of all, you're asking this as if these woman are intentionally trying to get pregnant so they can NOT be able to feed their kids. No parent wants to not be able to feed their kids. Your question should be, why are they not responsible enough to use protection? There are many answers to this: 1. Their parents failed to teach them about protection, therefore, they don't even know where or how to obtain it. 2. They really can not afford it. 3. Their religion doesn't allow them to use birth control(strange, since the religion that says this, also says premarital sex is a sin, and they don't want to follow that rule.) 4. They did use protection and it failed. It happens sometimes. 5. They were in a rush. 6. They don't like how a condom feels. 7. It was a rape. There are other reasons too. Bottom line, sometimes when women get pregnant, it's just an honest mistake while sometimes it's irresponsibility and sometimes it's reasons beyond the female's control. There is the option of adoption but not all adoptive families/foster homes are that nice. A lot of them are nice but some of them are abusive. There's also abortion, but some women, whether they're pro-life or pro-choice, feel guilty after getting abortions. So don't look at it as a woman wanting to not be able to take care of her kids. Just try to realize that there are LOTS of reasons a woman gets pregnant.

Pregnancy is calculated by your LMP (last menstrual period) So at the moment of conception you are already 2 weeks pregnant...LOL funny huh?

and they say it goes 14 days from your NEXT period is your fertile day...so if your period is due on the 15th of November then November 1st would have been your ovulation day. Keep in mind this is not true for many people and that is why the ovulation predictor kits are so popular.

Only 5% actually give birth on their due date, many first pregnancy go over...but remember again we have no way of really knowing what day you conceive...so it can actually go 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after your due date and your baby could be perfectly fine because that actually was their correct time to pop out.

The earliest you can test and get a positive is about 10 days after ovulation...but those are rare.

Good luck!

Infertility, like any disease, is simply a sign that something is not right inside the body and must be fixed. How to reverse infertility https://tr.im/g4kPB

I have worked with a lot of women on this issue, and have seen very few health related problems that cause such pain and anxiety as wanting to have a child and not being able to. The good news is that all the women who I have worked with who have changed diet and lifestyle factors have eventually conceived.

The doctors go back to the first day of your last period and count from there not the last day of your period. Good Luck!
