Clear Wet Stretchy Discharge late in cycle...HELP ME???? Please?

I am 26 very healthy (both hubby and I have been checked by doctor), we have a healthy son together. I am not on birth control or any other medications.
My cycles are irregular range from 29 - 36 days.

My last cycle was very strange. It came a week early on Jan 22 (it was supposed to come on Jan 29). But I am irregular so I didnt think much of it. Normally my periods are heavy for the first 3-4 days with bright red blood and then slow down until it is completely done - they normally last 6-7 days in total. However this cycle was never heavy...it never filled a tampon completely, only the tip. It was never bright red...It was abnormally light. The annoying part was the brownish/red/pink bleeding lasted for 29 days...it would be ever so slightly pink when I would wipe and some days there would be just a little on my pantie liner (I wore just in case).

This past Saturday I had a TON of very very clear stretchy wet discharge...so I grabbed my hubby and did the BD. Even though I thing it is pretty late in this cycle to ovulate, but I figured I should at least try.

Anyone have this and end up pregnant? Any help would be appreciated!!

I did call my DR and was told this can happen in early pregnancy but he wanted me to wait until my next cycle is due to take a test. It is not an infection.

Well its good that you called your doctor and his advice is probably the best.

As for having it happen to someone, I'm sure it has. I would personally take a pregnancy test because if you were having that bleeding as a sign of pregnancy, you would get a positive by now. Women can have a lot of discharge while pregnant too so that could be a sign of pregnancy as well. But if the test is negative, you know you aren't already pregnant since you'd be pretty far along by now if you were having these symptoms for so long.

If its negative, you know you still have a chance to be pregnant from that fertile CM you saw.

The CM should dry up if you just ovulated (or in a few days since the CM can come for several days before ovulation).

You can DEFINITELY ovulate really late! I had a friend whose cycles went from 32-39 days (had one that was 45 days). She got pregnant but didn't get her first positive test until 60 days after her last period! When she got her first ultrasound several weeks later, she was only 7 weeks along, meaning she ovulated after day 30 of her cycle!

The best way to check for ovulation is to chart your BBT. You'll see if you ovulate at all since with irregular cycles its possible you may not be ovulating. When you see ovulation, you'll know your period is due in 14 days or so and know if you are late. When your period comes or the day before (or 2 days before in my case) you'll see a drop in your temperature. So if you temp doesn't drop or even climbs and you see spotting, you'll know you should take a pregnancy test! I was able to tell I wasn't ovulating, got on Clomid and got to see ovulation and know when my period was due, and that it was coming and I hadn't gotten pregnant. There's a great site called fertilityfriend (they have a very good free version and a souped up version you can pay for) that will help you interpret your chart and will calculate your ovulation date for you so you don't have to worry about learning how to read the chart, it will do it on its own. It may take a chart or two until you learn how to read it and make sure you take your temperature correctly (there are tons of instructions out there explaining how to get the correct basal body temp and how you have to take it at the same time every day before getting up etc). You have to start charting at the beginning of a cycle (first day of your period) or else you won't know if you just ovulated.

Good luck! That spotting does sound odd so I would totally take a test if I were you, but then again, I'm a little bit of a poas addict.
