Question:
Is this a positive pregnancy test or an evoporation line?

I took a Dollar Tree pregnancy test, I heard that they are more sensitive than the more expensive ones. The first one showed up negative and I left the bathroom 3 minutes later, but when I came back in 15 min later I saw a VERY faint line, so since its over the 10 min limit, I saw that as invalid.
The second one turned out negative.
The third one I took, a second line appeared after 5 minutes and this is how it looks like now (the day after):

We've been trying to get pregnant for a while, and Ive bought a lot of those DT tests but never seen a second line. And with our first son, I took an expensive brand and had a very clear second line, there was no doubt about it.

I am going to go the hospital today or this week, but I may have to wait some weeks for an appointment, and I will def try the expensive brand when hubby gets paid, but my question is what do you think? Esp those with experience with those evop. lines?

I use the same brand all the time and for me, if I leave them even for an hour I have never got an evap. line. I say you probably are prego!!!

I am sorry but I am pretty sure it is neg (95% towards Neg)

Anytime you get a positive it has to come up within 3 minutes and almost always it will show as soon as the urine goes across the stick. If you see a line after the 3 minutes it is almost always the evap line. Try doing a 1st respondse test 4-5 days early test and do it first thing in morning with your 1st morning urine becuase it will be most concintrated and you are more likely to get a true result. Good luck and I am sending you some baby dust~~~~~ :)

Doesn't matter if it is the expensive brand or the cheap one. You can't look at them after 1 minutes and trust the result. It is likely an evaporation line. If it was less than 5 minutes, odd are yes. But don't stress about it (as hard as that is) because it does not help you at all (or the baby if there is one in there)!

you should attend the mandatory 2 to three minutes if its early after a ignored era (like a number of week or a lot less overdue) Very hardly will a attempt have a favorable line no matter if it isn't staggering, and no count number how faint the line no matter if that's there, i'm particular that's constructive. basically wait yet another 2-3 days and retake. My first attempt got here out detrimental and that i became pregnant and after I took the subsequent one a pair days later the line became so faint I also felt it wasn't real. nicely a million week after that the urine did not even attain the administration line previously the constructive result became there!

Check the expiration date on the tests. I've gotten some at a dollar store before...and found out later that the tests had been expired for a long time. If your period is late...I'd wait a week and try another test.

i still keep my pregnancy test as a memento from when i was pregnant 5 YEARS AGO! and it is still clearly marked.

it was the expensive brand. so definitely give up on the dollar 3 ones, they'll just confuse you!

i've seen your lines...and it's really confusing!

You could be, but it could be the evaporated line also. Try a digital test or have your doctor do a blood test, good luck!

it looks like it could be an evaporated line but then again you know your body
