first pregnancy test said positive second said negative wondering if anyone Else has had this and are pregnant?

I took my first pregnancy test yesterday and it said i was pregnant I took 2 others after that were a different brand that said i am not pregnant. I hear it is very rare to get a false positive but I was hoping someone might have had the same thing and are pregnant?

There are alot of factors to consider...



The first test did you take with first morning urine or with urine you held for 4+ hours? If so that causes the urine to be more concentrated and it will contain more hcg.



Different brands have different sensitivities and it could be very possible that the first brand was more sensitive than the others. I think that is most likely what happened.



I think that you are probably pregnant. If it was a chemical pregnancy it would take a day or 2 for hcg to dissipate so that it would not be detected on a home pregnancy test, not hours. Good luck!

Get a blood pregnancy test then have the Dr Do a ultra sound to see wahts going on there.

I had the same thing and it turned out I had a chemical pregnancy (where the egg fails to implant).



However, some pregnancy tests are just more sensitive than others so it could be that the second was a less sensitive test. I really hope you have a better outcome than I did.

Maybe your urine was dilute. Try again in a few days with your first morning urine. Good Luck!

The 2nd test didn't detect the hormone HCG, but the first one did. Congrats! Get ready to be sleeeeeeeepy! LOL

I would said to go to the doctor and explain to him what happened. I think you are is very rare to get positive and then false.

I agree try an ultrasound, this detects if there is a problem or if in atual fact you are pregnant.. Baby dust to you
