I got a positive reading and then 4 days later, yesterday i got a negative on the test??

Question

I have asked alot of maybe scared stupid questions.......please ignore them all!!!!
BUt i went to a clinic yesterday, and I took a urine pragnancy test and it came back negative, but them last friday I took a home EASYCLEAR or something pregnancy test and it was positive??? Can I still be pregnant because I also did not get my period yet and it is very late!!!

I would say that it is possible that your still pregnant, Most doctor office test have a much higher positive range than the early result home test. I would go buy a digital test and retest in a couple of days. I truly hope your still pregnant, but it is always possible that your were pregnant, but it didn't implant properly or something and you will get your period soon. I hope all goes well. If it makes you feel any better I am 16 weeks pregnant and had been trying to conceive for over a year with this one I took 4 HPT all positive to go to my doctor and her tell me it was negative, after several HCG draws and some scary ultrasound here i am pregnant with a healthy baby girl! Boy was my doctor wrong!

The hormone in the urine is always stronger in the morning, like the first time you pee. So you can possibly still be pregnant, you just dont have a strong hormone yet, and it cant be detected in your urine. So I would take another test and do it in the morning. Or go back to the clinic and test get a blood test. Pregnancy is a very sketchy thing...you are or you aren't but sometimes you can never be sure either way. It basically a waiting game. It really bites but you just have to wait it out! Good Luck, and congrats if you are!

Go back to the clinic and get a blood test. Explain to them you keep getting different results from the urine test and want to know for sure. A blood test is 100% accurate. There will be no question as to whether you are or aren't when you get the results, especially since your period is now late.

You need to tell the clinic that you have had differing results and request a blood test. If you are one month late then the HCG levels will be high enough to detect in your blood. Don't panic because this is pretty common with some women. I didn't test positive with my daughter until I was 4 months and 3 months with my son.

Gabriela for the sake of your child, get your boyfriend to the courthouse and get married. Stop "playing house" and get with the real world. Yes, you are pregnant and you and your boyfriend are going to have a little loved friend for the rest of your lives. So treat him with love and respect right from the beginning of his/her birth by marrying before the birth. Obviously, your child will then be born legitimately and not have the illegitimacy stigma forever. Your child will always respect your decision if you do this, at least.

I have a friend who never ever comes up positive on the pee tests, even when she IS pregnant. They have had to do a blood test every single time. She has 4 kids, and they had to blood test her for every one of em.
