Did I miss my ovulation?

I have been using the ovulation predictor kits to determine the best days to have sex. I use them in the morning when I get up and have had no problems detecting my LH surge the last 2 months. My last period was August 3rd and my cycles are normally around 30 days. I began testing on Monday the 13th and forgot to test Tuesday and didn't test until late Wednesday evening. Now the last 3 days there is barely a line at all. My predicted date of ovulation was tomorrow. My question is this, did I ovulate the other day when I forgot to test or am I just not ovulating this month?

I have found that I have to test twice a day very close to ovulation as sometimes the LH surge rises and falls very quickly - so twice a day I know I can pinpoint more accurately. Essentially try and stick to the same time each day, you went for almost day and half without testing - and if you had a short LH surge this time round you could have missed it. However, a positive reading means that you have 24-48 hours after that time usually for ovulation to occur. It is possible you are ovulating later this is known to happen regularly, and it is possible not to ovulate (anovulatory cycle) every month but still have a regular period (if you cycle is regular too). Keep testing for a few more days just to be sure.

I don't know, but I would be afraid that I missed it also on Tuesday. I just started using the OPK, and I still have not gotten a dark line yet, and I'm afraid that I'm not ovulating because we have been ttc for the past 3 months now. Good luck to you!
