Positive first response negative dollar store prg test?

Ok so I took a first response this morning and it came out positive..i then went to the dollar store and got a test and it is negative ..so confused ..

This happen to me too!.. Though i was also spotting, but indeed, i was pregnant. Now I am 6mo pregnant. You try another first response, they tend to be more accurate and sensitive to our hormone level changes. punctuation

To be quite frank I always thought the dollar tests were pants. With my first pregnancy they ALWAYS came back negative, but all the other tests came back positive. Go figure? And the same with my second pregnancy. So, I'd suggest trying to wait a little bit in between if you can and test with the more expensive tests or see if they have the lined tests from Big Lots. I had good testing with the ones from there. :)

Wait 5 more days before pregnancy testing again. Go 2 the dollar store and buy 5 pregnancy tests! Take them all first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything!

Two reasons:



1. First Response is more sensitive than Dollar Store.

2. The urine you used in the morning was more concentrated than the urine you used later in the day.



In other words: this is not unusual. And you ARE pregnant!

First response is probably more reliable the dollar store ones are harder to read and usually inaccurate hope that helps. I would take another first response test tomorrow morning.

its very very very very rare to get one false pos there is a slim chance to though more and likely its because you didnt use morning pee on the second one the first morning pee is always said to be used because its the strongest and will show up better i would make an ob apt and get a blood test done best of luck

there is a possibility that either test was faulty. My advice is to go get about 6, yes i said 6, of the same test and do them all. Your outcome will be obvious. :)

id say your pregnant, its very rare to get a false positive x
