It varies. Every womans body is different. Try adding freshly squeezed lemons in water and drink it twice daily along with your dosage of Vitex. Your period WILL arrive in 2 days! Hope this helps! :)

I love vitex questions, I've taken it before but got lazy, now i've been taking it (just took it actually) for 10 days consecutively (sp?), it CAN take anywhere from 3-6months to start working. Sometimes (like me) you will experience in between bleeding (which is your body resetting). I was only taking 800mgs at first (read the bottle wrong), switched to full dosage (1600mgs) the 7th, some places recommend you start slowly (like 400mgs for a week, 800mgs the next week etc) but I didn't. Most sites recommend you take somewhere between 1000-2000mgs. Good luck, I attribute vitex to me ovulating this month (haven't had menses since April 2008, did this month woo!).
