I need some advice and I am going to go into as much detail as poss, I would appreciate your comments.

I am on my 3rd cycle with clomid. The first cycle was successful 2 years ago but I miscarried at 6 weeks. The second cycle was taken last July, which was unsuccessful and I took my 3rd course of clomid during my last period (May 2010).

Day 1 of my cycle was on 2nd May, I am now on day 39 and still have no sign of my period. However, my periods are very irregular and can be anything from 28 days to 46. I don't have any reoccurring symptoms when I am due on, but for the past 2 weeks I have had sore boobs, aches in my back and have been very tired. I have done pregnancy tests on days 34, 36 and 38 but all have been negative. I was wondering if the clomid may be giving me these symptoms from all the hormones in my body?

I was doing ovulation tests what with me being on clomid, I didn't want to waste the course of pills. Tests showed positive on days 18 and 19 so needless to say we were at it like rabbits for those few days and even a couple of days after to be sure!

So the clomid must have worked to make me ovulate, as I don't usually ovulate on a normal period. I am so confused. I am unsure if I am pregnant. I feel different, but am not getting my hopes up as I know it's not guaranteed to work. So I guess I either need to wait a few more days for my period to arrive or try another pregnancy test in a couple of days?

Has anyone else been in this situation, what was the outcome? Do you think I'm pregnant or would a test show as positive by now, as I am on day 39 of my cycle? HELP!!! Thanks xxx

With being day 39 and no period, no positive preg test - I would suggest going to your doc for a blood pregnancy test to rule it out.

If you aren't pregnant, I would talk to your doc about using progesterone to bring on af, and then do cycle 3, 5, 9, 12 and 21 blood tests to see what your FSH, LH, and Progesterone hormones are doing. Maybe also talk about the use of Metformin along side Clomid to help ovulation.

Good luck, keep in touch!

No this has in no way got here approximately to me and that i'm confident it has got here approximately to human beings however. So what precisely is your question? Is it has this got here approximately to every person else or what's it? What answer are you attempting to get out of this question and that i'm not attempting to be ignorant if that's what it appears that evidently like.
