Implantation bleeding or early period?

I have what feels like menstrual cramps light to mild, come and go with light red spotting but my period isn't due til 17th,18th. I had unprotected sex on the 26th of last month. Is this implantation bleeding or an early period? I have another 7, 8 days till my periods due.

You're in the time frame that would be correct for implantation bleeding, so that's an option. Although implantation bleeding is normally pink to brown color, and light in consistency. It could also be a regular period, you can take a pregnancy test in 5 days or so.
