Period 3 days late, how long to test?

Question

I have a 27-28 day cycle. Was due to come on Friday or Saturday. Its now Monday and no period or no sign of it coming. Have been trying to get pregnant. Tested using morning pee yesterday and today got bfn both times. Used the clearblue digital test. Does that mean I am not pregnant or could there not enough hcg in my pee yet? I have never been late for a period before.

Any of you guys had a BFN before and then tested positive?? Im thinking of going to gp for blood test. Thanks for any replies.

from past experience the digital tests are not as sensitive as the line tests. I would suggest going to the store and getting a first reponse or answer regular test. I would take it first thing in the morning. If you get a bfn wait a week. If AF still hasnt showed retest. Sometimes the HCG takes a while to build up. It just depends on the woman. I personally took 17 days after missed period to get a BFP so u never know. Just hang in there and ~*~*~BABYDUST~*~*~

iv always got my BFP the morning my period was due. same with everyone i know really, it says the test is over 99% accurate from the first day of your missed period, i think personally if its negative the next day you are not pregnant, but if you dont think like me go and get a blood test done

You may not have enough hcg in your urine.

Go in for the blood test. Beats sitting here worrying and wondering.
