I've never really kept up with ovulation dates. But for the most part my period has come when its expected and when it doesn't it was because I was pregnant. Last period was on Sep 19, 2011. Af hasn't shown. October is a long month but what do you know, no AF. Around the time I expected it to show I did get discharge (gooey mess - whitish/clear color)sorry for TMI. A few days later I started cramping and thought I was going to start but the cramping stopped. I've just never missed a period in any one month. So, how late can one ovulate? Week before AF, days, before, day of? Sorry..you would think after 3 kids I'd know this but I don't. I'm just wondering if late ovulation is what delayed AF but to delay it this long seems odd to me.

Usually your luteal phase (the time from ovulation until you start your period) is 12-16 days...so it doesn't matter when you ovulated, just whenever you ovulate you should expect your period to come around 2 weeks later (unless you have a super short or super long luteal phase...or if you are pregnant)!! If you say you usually get your period when you're supposed to, then it's safe to assume you have a pretty regular cycle! All I can say is to take a test...b/c if you are usually on time & are late, then you might be pregnant again!! Or maybe you ovulated late this month due to some type of stress...IDK, just take a test!! Good luck to you!!
