Google pregnancy test results. There is a website out there that will tell you the sensitivity of each pregnancy test on the market. I have looked at it before and it says that the sensitivity of the dollar store and the sensitivity of the more expensive brands are the same. Some of the dollar store brands were even better than that of the more expensive ones. I have taken several (and by several I mean like 5 million! :0p) from the dollar store and never gotten a wrong answer. Save your money and buy a cheaper test.

The dollar tree test is just as sensitive as first response or answer. Something I wish I would have known a long time ago...before I would always grab the early results test which can cost about $8-10 a piece.

I have used both the cheap and expensive brands and found no difference in them. I usually buy First Response, but I have also bought the dollar ones from the Dollar Tree where I live. The FR usually run about $8 or $9 for one.

I prefer dollar tree tests. I did alot of research and tried a few brands. Dollar tree test are more sensitive and less expensive. Believe it or not the are a really good option.

regardless of what ppl tell you they are all the same so you don't have to spend a fortune to find out if your pg or not. . . you can get the strore brand if you like. . .people say the best are first response bc they tell you 5 days before your missed period but my sister used the store brand fro all 4 of her pregnancies and they were all positive on the first try. . . so it really don't matter

They all "look" for the same horomone. Some test just claim to do it sooner than others, but the accuracy still isn't 100% until you've missed your period. First Response says it can give you results up to five days before your missed period but the accuracy then is only around 60%, and it only increases as you get closer to your period.

EPT is statistically the most accurate test. First Response also works well but it has a higher percentage of false positives than all of the other tests.

honestly, the first positive i got was on a dollar store test. i followed up with a more expensive test (first response), but i got the same positive result!

i dont think it matters which test you use. the nurse i talked to said they are all pretty accurate!

hope this helps!

I took the brand Answer seven days before my period was due and it gave me a very accurate positive.

I have taken the generic ones, the dollar ones and none have lied to me yet.

I can't stand home pregnancy tests. They either offer false hope or dashed hope. Save your money, and get a blood test at the doctor's office a week after your missed period.
