Question:
EPT digital preg tests, dig says not p. but two lines show on stick. Preg or not? Test too early?

The digital part said "not pregnant" but when I took the stick out there was one blue line and another faint blue line to the left of it. Was it just too light to register? Does that mean the same thing as a regular preg test? I am two days after missed period. Helpful advice please but if you have some witty, funny thing to say, well I could always use a laugh.

Don't rely on home pregnancy tests; they are not very accurate until 4 to 6 weeks. Even then, they don't always work. My wife used 4 or 5 of the things and they were all negative. It took a doctor with an ultrasound machine to verify that she was 4 months pregnant ... with twins!

My digital test said "Not Pregnant," but the test stick has 2 lines. Am I really pregnant? The lines on the digital test stick (both Clearblue Easy Digital and e.p.t. Certainty) do not mean anything. They cannot be read like a regular test. The digital test sticks detect both hCG (pregnancy hormone) and LH (which "surges" around ovulation, but is present in some quantity nearly all the time.) Therefore, most women will have 2 lines on a digital test stick, even those who are not pregnant. See Secret of the Digital for an in-depth look at the digital test.

I'll bet a million bucks, if I had it that is, that you are pregnant! Two lines, no matter how faint, is a positive, where the digitals require higher levels of HCG in your bosy to give a positive sign. Take another general EPT tomorrow - your second line will be darker, and I bet the next day your digital will be positive as well!

You are probably seeing an evaporation line. I know this because I took a million of them. Buy the First Response pregnancy test. Those detect the hormone 5 days before your period is due. All pregnancy tests are different. Good luck, one day you will see 2 lines and be so thrilled. It is like a high!

Well I have used one of those tests before and it was a clear no, but I am sorry I don't know what to say to your reading. But I know that you can wait 2 days after previous test to retest. Test, test, test!! hahaha. Because your hcg builds up every two days. But otherwise i would suggest going to a doc just to be sure. Hope I could help, and God Bless!

Go by what the digital bit says. The two lines actually mean that the test is working.

Re test with a First response in about a week, if you don't want to go to the Doctor to find out for sure.

On the digital, you cant go by what the test strip says it WILL give you a false negative...Check out this site it explains it all....But hopefully it is too early and you really are!!!

LOOK DONT LISTEN TO THEM. KEEP TESTING UNTIL U GET A CLEARLY VISIBLE POSITIVE TEST OR USE THE DIGITAL EPT TEST THOSE ARE THE BEST. THATS HOW I FOUND OUT THREE DAYS AFTER MY PERIOD WAS SUPPOSED TO COME

I would wait two days, buy another test (different brand), & compare results.
