So. I have had the implant in for three years now, it has for the most part stopped my periods and I have had the occasional one here and there. I am getting my implant out this week and me and my partner have made the decision to start trying for a baby. I want to know how soon this could be or if I have to wait a little bit after having it out? If anyone could help that would be amazing!

It could happen quickly afterwards, some fertile couples will conceive without even having the first period because they got pregnant with first ovulation after stopping their birth control. Generally people have to try a little bit longer. Once you remove the implant, I assume nexplanon, your body will need to return to normal physiology and start ovulating and having a menstrual cycle. This certainly could start within the first month after removal. Since you are removing the implant and actively trying to conceive, strongly urge you to start your prenatal vitamins and abstain from tobacco, alcohol and other drugs now. I wish you the best.

Well wait until you get home, people might object you doing it on the bus
